Europcar demonstrates success with Latin America Strategy
Paris, October 4th, 2005 – Europcar is achieving notable successes in the course of its stringently pursued Latin America Development Strategy. For instance in Argentina: here, Europcar has become one of the three exclusively permitted “In-Terminal” car rental companies within the major Argentine airports. The deal with the privately owned “Aeropuertos Argentina 2000” covers 32 airports from Iguazú to Río Gallegos. The agreement demonstrates a significant commitment to and confidence in the growth of the Europcar brand in Latin America.
Further north, Europcar Mexico is steadily continuing its network expansion. Following a clearly defined growth strategy, an additional ten stations have been opened within the last few months augmenting Europcar’s presence in Mexico to a total of 29 stations across the country. The careful choice of locations reflected a mix of traditional resort areas / summer destinations and commercial / corporate business concentrations, thus providing an ideally broad-based response to customer demands for high-quality products and services.
Europcar is represented in 143 countries with more than 2,800 rental stations and operates a fleet of over 200,000 vehicles throughout Europe, Central and South America, Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and Asia-Pacific. Further information is available under www.europcar.com, at your travel agency, or through any Europcar call centre.
