    Can I check rates without making a reservation?

    You may request a Europcar quotation and check vehicle availability without making a reservation. Complete only the first pages of the rates and reservations process and stopping at the page entitled “Rates” . If you wish to make a reservation at this time and with these details simply continue by pressing the "Book Now" button.

    Can I make a faster reservation if I do not need to know the rate quoted at reservation?

    Yes, by entering with your Europcar ID number and choosing the Express booking tab. This option will omit the "Rates" and "Driver details" pages in the booking process.

    What are the benefits of using my Europcar ID number online?

    Using your Europcar ID number will allow you to:
    • benefit from your contractual conditions
    • book without giving your credit card number online (except for prepaid products)
    • create your own rental preferences under "My Profile" for faster online bookings
    • facilitate the set up of your rental agreement at time of rental.
    Europcar members registered for the Ready Service will receive the associated benefits of the service through quoting their Europcar ID number.

    What should I do if I have lost my password?

    Your password is by default your date of birth which will be in either one of the following formats: dd/mm/yyyy or ddmmyyyy. If you have already changed your password and are unable to remember it, you should also have entered a secret question/answer : please click on the link “Forgot your password” once you are on the rental information page and you will be asked to supply the answer to your secret question before being provided with your password. Make sure you close the password pop-up once you have read it. You may also send an e-mail to Webmaster@mail.europcar.com indicating your date of birth, Europcar ID number and Driving Licence

    How does Europcar protect my personal and credit card information online?

    The online reservation service is located on a secure server that guarantees the safety of a transaction. The system uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypting technology. SSL works by encrypting all communications between your computer and our server so the information cannot be intercepted. Click here for more about your privacy and security.

    How will I know that my reservation is confirmed?

    At the end of the reservation process you will receive a "Reservation Confirmation" page with the reservation number highlighted. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail containing the details of your reservation. You should print these and keep them for your records.

    Is it possible to modify / cancel my reservation after it is confirmed?

    Yes, Europcar allows you to modify or cancel your reservation online after it is confirmed, provided it is done at least 2 hours prior to rental time. You simply need to click on « Modify / Cancel » in the menu.

    Is it possible to modify / cancel my Prepaid reservation after it is confirmed?

    If you have pre-paid your reservation and your requirements have changed you will need absolutely to cancel your reservation and then make another.The amount initially charged will be refunded on your credit card number if the required notice is given (see Terms and Conditions).
    Please note that you can only modify or cancel the reservations which have been made online by yourself. You will not be able to amend online reservations made or modified via our Reservation Service Centre, Travel Agency, or reservations using a driver ID whilst you are not logged on using the same Driver ID.

    What does it mean when I receive the message "Your session has timed out"?

    For your security, if you remain inactive on the website for a prolonged period of time, we close the connection to our system and ensure that the personal data entered is removed securely. To restart the process simply click the link.
